Year 10 Formal
The Year 10 Formal was held last Thursday at the Connection Function Rooms with great success. Many students arrived in style, including Freya Oades, a Corvette Stingray, no less. All the girls were magnificently dressed and the boys too! The evening started with group photos. Many students found it awkward, posing for a real camera; odd considering the number of selfies they would take in a single day!
As the evening moved on, students found themselves on the dancefloor with some real standouts – Leo! Students danced to the classic, though painfully tiresome Nutbush to headbanging ghetto.
Awards were given out for best arrival – Freya Oades, best dressed Yarrrakai Lovette and Madelyn Andronaco, best dancing Trey Wallace and Tarnesha Jenkins.
Thanks to Lynn Bentley for organising the evening, Darryl McConnell for taking great photos and all the staff who supervised. These events are not possible without staff generously volunteering their time.
