ANZAC Commemorations

ANZAC Day March

A number of Cowra High students participated in the ANZAC Day march and service in Cowra.  They were a  credit to their school on this solemn occasion, displaying our core values of Respect and Responsiblity.

ANZAC Assembly

On Wednesday 26 April, an ANZAC Assembly was held at Cowra High for all students.  Year 5 & 6 students from Mulyan Public and Cowra Public were also invited to attend.   School leaders from the three schools laid a wreath in remembrance of those who have given their lives in world conflicts. Jemma Pokoney & Banyette Bohman addressed the assembly and told of the impact of being in Europe and visiting the battlefield sites and graves of many Australian soldiers who were involved in conflicts there. Year 10 music students performed an item and Imajen James sang the National Anthem.
