A Music Performance at Henschke Primary School

Last Wednesday, the 30th August our Year 10 class travelled to Henschke Primary School to perform a concert for the students, teachers and parents. The audience was treated to a fabulous performance from Heatstroke, fresh from their big gig at Uberfest in Sydney. This was followed by Peter Froon singing “Behind Blue Eyes” and an ensemble of Elizabeth Evans, Caitlin Hood and Sam Butt who performed “Be OK”. The Henschke Primary School Band then showed off what they have been learning this term, including the world premiere of Sam Butt’s “Abel’s Morning Stroll” - a piece that Sam composed especially for the Henschke Primary Band. The concert concluded with performances from the entire Year 10 class, including a combined performance of “A Little Less Conversation” with the primary school kids.
Thanks to Michael Jones and his team of teachers at Henschke for allowing us to perform for the school.
