SSV COBURG DISTRICT ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

The SSV Coburg District Athletics Carnival will be held on Wednesday 29 August 2018 at the Coburg Athletics Track.

The Years 3-6 students have been involved in track and field event practice during Term 2 physical education sessions and they will continue to practise during Term 3.

Events include high jump, triple jump, long jump, discus, shot put, 800m, 100m, 200m & 4 x 100m relay.

SSV Coburg District Winter Sport Results

The SSV Coburg District Winter Sport Competitions were conducted during Term 2. St Fidelis was represented by teams in Australian Rules Football, Netball and Soccer.

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the SSV Coburg District Winter Sport Competitions. They should feel extremely proud of their efforts. The players are to be highly commended for their great enthusiasm, good sporting behaviour and their dedication to team performances.

The teams also benefited thanks to the efforts of the teachers in charge of the various sports. In particular, special thanks to Ms Tania and Mrs Daquino for their contributions to the soccer and netball teams. Their efforts were greatly appreciated.

Finally, thank you to the parents and family members who were able to come along and support the teams. The players and teachers appreciated you attending the games to cheer on the players.

Winter Sport Division Championships

By achieving premierships in the SSV Coburg District Division 2 Competitions, the St Fidelis Netball Teams and the Australia Rules Football Team competed against the SSV Coburg District Division 1 premiers. Unfirtunately the teams didn't win their respective games, but the students can feel very proud of their performances at this level of competition. Well done!!!

Football and Soccer uniforms

Members of the football and soccer teams can return borrowed jumpers, shirts, socks and boots to their classsroom teachers as soon as possible.
