Executive Dinner
On Tuesday this week, our Year 12 Hospitality class held their Annual Executive Dinner. Students showcased their culinary skills developed during their Certificate II in Hospitality. Year 12 students were able to use their diverse range of skills to organise the event, catering for 22 guests. This involved writing the menu, creating the recipes, planning the layout of the dining room, tableware selection, front of house members and all food preparation. Students were supported on the night by the Year 11 Hospitality class who are currently working on their Food Service competency. Students involved in the evening are to be commended for creating an innovative menu which was well balanced and extremely well received by all who attended. The atmosphere on the evening, both in the dining room and kitchen is a credit to all involved. Thank you to the Kildare community for their support and to all staff who helped make the evening such a success.
