Da Vinci Decathlon

Congratulations to the teams of eight students selected for the 2019 Da Vinci Decathlon. Selected students for Year 9,10 and 11 will be announced in Week 11.

Meetings continue Thursday lunchtimes:

• Years 7 and 8 in LC1
• Years 9,10 and 11 in B10

Year 10 Listening to Young Readers

There is a proposal for Year 10 students to run a reading program with students at Our Lady of Dolours from Term 2. This activity would be for 15 minutes before school and involve learning the Pause, Prompt, Praise system of reading instruction.

Mathematics Daily Drop-in Sessions

Maths skills sessions are offered in C1 on a daily basis

After-school Study Program 

This is a time for any student to apply to their studies. It is usually available three afternoons per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30pm – 4:30pm.  Year 12 Learning Prefects will be attending After School Study to provide expert help with homework.

Volunteer Readers and Writers

This is a rewarding and invaluable service for students. If you are interested in assisting with reading and writing needs of students for examinations please contact AGunns@stpiusx.nsw.edu.au.
