Vocal Ensemble Enjoys an Afternoon Workshop with Australian Tenor, Andrew Goodwin
Last Wednesday our Senior Vocalists enjoyed an open rehearsal with Australian Tenor, Andrew Goodwin. Andrew helped our students release more conviction and joy in their singing. He demonstrated the art of vocal improvisation over an existing chorus and shared his glorious voice and passion for performance. We are grateful for this opportunity for our students to learn from an industry professional. The day could not have ended on a happier note!
St Pius Music Students Exhibit High Levels of Creativity – Check Out Aiden’s Latest Invention, “The Tubman”
Aiden of Year 7 has been helping Mr Cranney keep track of his guitar picks. In case you didn’t know, once a guitar pick gets dropped, it is often lost for good under furniture or into the black hole for guitar picks. Aiden has successfully made several attempts at laser printing pick holders. He we see Aiden presenting his guitar teacher, Mr Cranney with his latest model made on his family’s 3D Printer. His latest prototype has 12 x 2 mm pick holder slots and a tray for various other shapes and sizes. We hope that Aiden patents his designs. Well done Aiden. Keep up the terrific guitar playing and inventiveness.
