Interim Reports Year 5 to 11
Dear Parents
Interim reports for Years 5 and 6 will be mailed on Tuesday 9 April and Interim reports for Years 7 to 11 will be available on the Portal on Wednesday 10 April.
The purpose of the interim report is to provide an initial indication of how your son is fulfilling the course requirements for each of his subjects. To fulfil the course requirements, your son is expected to:
- Apply himself with diligence and sustained effort to the set tasks and experiences provided in the course by the College; and
- Achieve some or all of the course outcomes.
Teachers will report on your son’s progress in the following categories:
Organisation
- PLD is charged
- Brings all related resources for learning (text, PLD, workbooks, HW, PDHPE uniform)
- Evidence of learning is organised in an accessible manner (notes, PLD, workbook, folder, portfolio)
Positive Involvement in learning
- Displays initiative
- Works well in groups
- Shows keen interest in the subject
- Empathises the views and opinions of others
- Contributes with views and opinions
- Uses ICT responsibly
Completes assigned work on time
- Keeps notes up to date
- Homework
- Class tasks
- Formal tasks
Demonstrates appropriate classroom behaviour
- Is cooperative
- Is courteous to teachers and students
- Is able to self-monitor and be aware of own actions
Please do not hesitate to contact any of your son's teachers regarding his progress. It is also important to regularly check his student planner for teacher notes. It is also worthwhile monitoring the Portal to access assessment marks as they are released.

Year 11 Parent/Student Teacher Meetings
For Year 11 parents, the interim report can be further discussed at Parent/Teacher meetings scheduled for Monday 13 May from 4.00pm.
Year 12 Mid Course Reports
The Mid Course reports for Year 12 will be available on the Portal at the end of Week 3 of next term.
