Prayer:  Our Lenten Commitment

Next Sunday will be the fifth Sunday in Lent and we continue to prepare for Christ's death and resurrection. We are all challenged to renew ourselves to become a better person.

The students have been challenged to give of themselves, to give of their “time, treasure and talents”.   This prayer below calls us to be better people by giving to others.

Merciful Father/Loving Mother,

Help me be generous to others

To make renewal and sacrifice this Lent

so I can be a better person in my life.

I don't always recognise the new life you offer me.

Help me to grow this Lent in an awareness

of the gifts you place in my life

and in a greater appreciation for your care.

Give me the courage to ask for help.

Please see further details on the Teaching & Learning page of this newsletter.

Changes to Student Personal Learning Devices

As outlined in a previous Woodchatta, the College will gradually remove Administrator Rights from the student PLDs.  Commencing next week Year 5 and Year 7 laptops will be recalled for the holiday period to be re-imaged and Administrator Rights removed.  The removal of these rights will prevent students from installing games and the like on their school devices.

Year 5 parents will receive further communication from Mr Long and Year 7 parents will receive this from Mr Stollery.

Last Day of Term 1 - Thursday 11 April

The last day for students this term is Thursday 11 April. All students must attend right up till the last day as we have a full day of classes planned, as well as our Easter Liturgy. The College has generous holiday periods and any early leave is strongly discouraged.

Please note that the boys return to school in Term 2 in full Winter Uniform.

Congratulations Matt Connellan - Class of 2008

The College congratulates Matt Connellan of the Class of 2008. Matt has made a place for himself as a reporter and presenter covering major news stories and the Football for SBS and the photo shows him presenting the SBS program "The World Game".

Matt was an outstanding footballer in his time at the College.  Congratulations Matt!
