Bunnings Sausage Sizzle – Sunday 13th Oct
It’s not too far away now and we will be needing volunteers! A roster will be created by the P&F soon where you can pick your time slot, which will be as follows:
- 2 hr timeslots, minimum 4 people per slot (ie. minimum 18 people required over the whole day)
- Start Time: 8am
- Finish Time: 5pm (Last hour is for pack up.)
Please contact Anna Millar on 0403 977 723 to organise a slot. Remember, this is an event that is catered outside of the school, so what a great time to show everyone what a great community we are at St. Fidelis and how we come together to support each other! Tell you family, friends and co-workers to keep this date in their diaries free because who doesn’t love a Bunnings sausage sizzle!
Christmas Night Market – Friday 22nd Nov
Our last meeting really started the ball rolling! Thank you to all that attended. The market will open for everyone at 4:30pm and close by 8:30pm.
Volunteers required:
- 2 hour timeslots to be filled
- Every classroom will be allocated a stall to run
- Parent reps will be in contact with parents soon to begin organising timeslots
- 2 people minimum per timeslot/stall (this will be outlined when parent reps get in contact with you)
Donations required:
- 2nd hand uniforms and 2nd hand kids clothing only (please these must be in excellent condition)
- 2nd hand children’s books only (in excellent condition – no missing/ripped pages etc)
- Marquees (3m x 3m minimum)– these will be returned to you as they will only be required for the day
Donations from each classroom:
- Every year level will be requested to bring in an item for the market (eg napkins, soft drink cans/water bottles, paper plates etc) – a flyer will be sent out in your child’s bag this week

Christmas Night Market – Flyer Competition
The competition to design our Night Market flyer closed last Friday. Manuela will announce 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, each to receive a voucher to spend at the market. 1st place winner’s design will be the main feature on all flyers and advertising for the market!
Footy Day – Last Day of Term 3 – Fri 20th Sept
The P&F are organising a small treat for the students on the last day of Term 3. Don’t worry parents! This will be a free event and no need to book!
Icy Pole Days – Term 4
Yes! We hear a lot of children exclaim! The icy poles will be returning every Friday in Term 4. Again, the P&F will require lots of helpers. If you believe you will be available on Fridays (or even one Friday) to help sell the icy poles to the students please contact Rose Piotti on 0418 306 802.

Our next P&F monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday 9th October at 7:30pm in the school staffroom (TBC) Everyone is welcome to join our meetings, so please feel free to come along and be involved as we discuss upcoming events and fundraising ideas.
