You Can Do It

Persistence

In term 4 we are focussing on the foundation of Persistence.  To be persistent you need to speak positively to yourself.  Telling yourself that “I Can Do It!” is a good habit of the mind to get into.  This means that you trust in your own ability to be successful in different tasks.  It involves thinking that you’ll probably be successful when trying something new or difficult, taking credit for success, and not taking mistakes too personally.  “I Can Do It!” thinking results in persistent and confident behaviour.  This week try talking positively to yourself and see if you are successful!
