From Community Hub 

Community Hub had a different start to the year this year with many activities not being able to resume.  Despite this, families still got to engage with the Hub through phone calls, emails and text messages. A Walking Group was started to allow for face-to-face interaction in a COVID-safe manner.  This was a big hit as families could take advantage of the nice weather to explore the local neighbourhood.  Several nice parks and playgrounds were discovered and enjoyed!

English classes were conducted online via WhatsApp. Anne, our lovely English teacher, planned a range of exercises for participants to practise speaking and writing English while at home. These sessions also allowed the participants to catch up with one another and share their stories. 

As restrictions lift, Community Hub programs and support services will slowly resume.  We look forward to seeing all the families returning!
