Year 2 Pen Pals 

The Year 2 students are very excited to send their pen pal letters to our Year 4 students this week. They have been learning how to set out a letter, punctuate it correctly and ask specific questions. 

Four of our students recorded a video message for the Year 4 students. We hope you enjoy viewing this.  

We are looking forward to the Year 4 students writing back and answering our questions and telling us a little about themselves. We are hopefully going to arrange a time to have lunch together and do some fun activities with our pen pals later in the term.

Cyber Safety Incursion   

On Friday 25 February the Year 2 students were lucky enough to attend a Cyber Safety incursion with Trent and Sam from the Cyber Safety Project.

Trent and Sam provided an extremely engaging presentation taking the students on a wonderful journey explaining how to stay safe online. The students learnt that when they don’t have a nice feeling inside when they are online, they need to STOP! 

Trent and Sam also taught the students how to create a strong, safe and unique password. We played a game called, ‘Shhhh It’s A Secret’. They discussed the importance of a long & complex password and why they are the most secure.
