Retreat Reflection

Year 12 Retreat was a time to relax, reflect and quite literally retreat from everything going on in our lives as we started Year 12. The first few weeks of Year 12 have been very hectic so going away for a couple of days to Blampied was an incredible experience and definitely necessary. As we headed out to Blampied early on Wednesday morning, we were filled with excitement and anticipation as to what life without service and the internet would be like for the next three days! However, when we arrived at the beautiful Rutherford Park venue, we were entertained by the numerous horses that surrounded thievery country accommodation & location.

The next two days were filled with time to reflect on the friendships we have made throughout our years at Killester as well as our own personal journey. From Trivia Night to the fashion parade, these were just a few highlights of this trip. Making memories with our friends altogether for one of the last times will be something that we will forever cherish.

Thanks to the staff who came with us and the families who got up so early to drop us off! We had a wonderful time.
