Library

Our library is full of life, from study periods to recess to lunchtime activities. Students enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in our quiet study rooms or the more excitedupbeat main area of the library. At recess and lunchtimes, our library comes to lifewith students sharing their love of books, participating in a game of cards, UNO, chess or simply using the time to catch up on study. Did I say chess? Please keep an eye out for our upcoming chess tournament.
Mrs Scott, our vibrant teacher librarian, has sent out emails with all the information - please register by following the link in the email. The tournament begins on the 28th March, so come along and join in the fun with prizes to be won and show your chess skills. In addition we are running two other activities, an Easter colouring competition, so pop into the library at any time to pick up an entry and drop it back into the library by 6th April. The winner will be announced on the 7th of April, with a SURPRISE PRIZE!
With ANZAC DAY approaching we are creating poppies to place on our display board. Come in at any time and make a poppy, you can dedicate your poppy to someone you know that fought in a war by placing their name on it. I will be dedicating my poppy to my dad. Don’t forget our Maker Space activities every Tuesday at lunchtime.
