Science & Digital Technologies

The Science Department's focus for 2022 is to begin our integration of digital technologies into the Science curriculum. This means providing real world opportunities for students to understand how these two fields are very much intertwined.

In class, students have been learning to evaluate data using a range of technologies and exploring how visual, digital simulations can consolidate their learning.

In Year 9 Digital Technologies, the students have been working hard building machines controlled by an Arduino microcontroller.  They have started with a simple push button circuit which has been programmed using C++, and will further their understanding of Arduino throughout the semester creating more complex circuits.
