The THS AFL, Soccer and Basketball Academy has begun and massive interest has meant the competition for the limited number of spots has been fierce. Students across year 7-9 have taken part in trials, showing us what they can do and why they should be selected for the squads.

Coaches had the tough task of narrowing down the applicants and selecting squads for each sport. Those students who showed not only a talent for the sport, but also commitment to training, excellent teamwork and dedication to the expectations of the academy, were chosen to represent our school.

Students have begun preparing for a big year of sport by attending 7:30am strength and conditioning training sessions. We are excited to witness their progression throughout the year, and look forward to all the successes to come. Watch this space!
