ANZAC Day

Combined Schools ANZAC Day Ceremony

Earlier this week, Reservoir High was invited to participate at the combined schools ANZAC Ceremony at the 1000 Steps Kokoda Track Memorial Walk at Ferntree Gully. This event is jointly hosted by the 2/14th Battalion Association and has run for over 20 years.  With ANZAC Day falling before the end of the school holidays, the event was held earlier than usual.

Reservoir High was proudly represented by Charli Hancock, Patrick Brown , Isobel Laffan, Alexia Coulloupas and Giorgio Blackwell  who laid a wreath on behalf of the Reservoir High School community. Charli , the current Bruce Kingsbury VC scholarship recipient was invited to speak at the ceremony. Charli presented on the theme of 'Service' to the large crowd of servicemen and servicewomen and students from many schools.

We again thank Mr Craig Iskov and Mr Michael Ralston of the 2/14 Battalion Association  for both their on-going support of the students at Reservoir high School and for inviting us to this event.
