Elevate Education Report

Elevate Education aim to teach Year 8 students about study methods and timetables for homework. It was great to have a young member of the program teaching us because he was more relatable to the problems we come across when doing homework. He taught us about how to start a study timetable, suggesting to build it around the things you want to do and to do homework as early as possible so that your brain isn’t thinking about anything else. It’s also good to set a big time for study in your timetable so that you are not disappointed if you go over that time, and if you finish early then you can go on with your day. Overall he was great and relatable and we learnt so much that will help us now and in the future.

Year 7 Camp

Year 7 students are excited about going on camp next week.

• Camp 1 – 7 A, D, E & F:       Monday 24 February – Wednesday 26 February
• Camp 2 – 7 B, C, G & H:      Wednesday 26 February – Friday 28 February

A huge thank you must go to Mrs Petra Witt and Ms Deborah McKay for their organisation of the camp. This is also extended to all staff who will be attending. It is a big sacrifice for staff to attend as they leave their families, prepare classes which will be missed, and then be on duty caring for your daughters.
