During this time, we have witnessed so many good deeds and you don’t have to look far from the St Mary’s gate to recognise some familiar faces among the inspiring efforts. 

Staff and students have been seen;

- filling sand bags, 

- delivering and laying sandbags for others, 

- serving food and refreshments to the people at the sandbagging sites, 

- caring for our school animals, 

- supervising children to allow their parents to assist, 

- housing families in need, 

- delivering supplies to the evacuation centers, 

- opening the school gates for the emergency service workers, 

- cooking for those in need,

- purchasing supplies to be delivered to others,

- helping families lift and move furniture. 

All of this while also navigating their own way through this crisis. We are proud of each and every member of our school family.
