Division Cricket 

On Monday the 17th October 2022, seven Year 6 students and two Year 5 students competed in Division Cricket at Capital Reserve. 

The competition included 7 teams and they were: Mount View, Christ Our Holy Redeemer, Pinewood, Syndal South, Mount Waverley North, Camelot Rise and St Justin's. In our first game, we played against Camelot Rise and had a fantastic win by 100 runs. Then in our next game,  we played against Syndal South and had another super win, winning by over 50 runs. In the final game of our group, we unfortunately ended up losing by 10 runs in a tough fought game against Mount Waverley North.

Thanks to our success in the group stages, we moved on to the Semi Final. Here we played against Pinewood and in the close encounter, we lost by only 16 runs, which meant that our run in the 2022 competition was at an end. 

In the Grand Final, Pinewood and Mount View played off against each other with Mount View ending up winning by 100 runs and winning the whole tournament.

We had an amazing day in the sun and played some incredible cricket. Well done to Marco, Yiann, Will, Jake, Flynn, Lachie, Zac, Kai, and Christian. A really great representation of the St Justin’s Spirit!
