DAMSAWK Cricket

Congratulations to all 36 Year 4 to 6 students who trained hard and represented our College with fantastic sportsmanship at the DAMSAWK Cricket last week. King's had two male and two female teams compete in a round robin competition at the Dennington Oval on Friday 21st October which saw some brilliant results. One of the male teams played in the grand final, missing out on the premiership by minimal runs, and one of our female teams won every game, making them undefeated. Congratulations to the girls who have qualified for the Division Cricket in Hamilton.

GWR Volleyball

On Thursday October 27, we sent our three successful Volleyball teams off to Horsham to compete against schools in the Greater Western Region. Our teams are commended for their commitment to their training over several lunchtimes leading up to this event and the significant progress that they made.

South West Middle Years Clay Target Competition

On Monday the 24th October our Clay Target Shooting Team competed in the South West Middle Years Clay Target Competition. It was some of the most trying conditions I have seen for a student competition. Our students held themselves with a cheerful disposition and respect for the judges and other competitors while competing very well. They even made some personal best scores despite the conditions and the pressure of competition. Riley (Year 7) lead the way with his personal best score, narrowly missing out on a podium position. Well done to the team.
