NATIONAL PYJAMA DAY

On the 22nd of July we are hosting a Pyjama Day for ALL YEAR LEVELS!!!

All students are able to wear their pyjamas, they must be weather and school appropriate (below students shoulders).

Please bring a gold coin donation to support children in foster care.

Cake raffle tickets are still available to purchase through the QKR! app until Thursday morning at 11am.

LEADERS TAKING ACTION 

Some of our Year 5/6 students have decided to utilise their creative skills and offer lunchtime clubs and activities in the library. At the moment, we have three clubs on offer for students to join. Spaces are limited but everyone will have fair go if they are interested. 

CODING CLUB - THURSDAYS

Hi, my name is Liron and I run the coding club on Thursday's second half of lunch. I have introduced the students to a program called 'Scratch'. Scratch is a free online program where you can create your own interactive stories, games, and animations. I am demonstrating to the students how to use loops and take input from the user. This is getting very popular and more and more students want to join, but we can only have seven at a time, so I might introduce Tuesdays for an extra session.

 ORIGAMI CLUB - FRIDAYS 

Hey Rippers, next term Noah and Julian will be running an origami club. You will learn how to make amazing creations such as a leaping frog and a snappy shark. Our club will start on the first Friday of next term. All students are welcome to join, but we will need to keep this small because we are working in the library. We hope to see you there, first eight on the registration list will join, and then we'll pick the next eight the following week. 

DANCE CLUB- WEDNESDAYS 

Dance club will be running every Wednesday in the second half of lunch starting next term! Larni and Ivy W will be teaching basic dance and gymnastics skills to Year 3-6 students. 

If anyone wishes to join there will be sign-up sheets around the school!
