David's Message

Dear Sunny Heights Parents and Carers,

We've reached the end of another term at Sunny Heights! We have been able to reflect on the many events that have happened this term, from our Mother's and Special Person's Day Breakfast, to an amazing time at Twilight School. We have said goodbye to some short term friends, such as Miss Rachel from grade 3, Dee and Shirley, our OT students; and a very fond farewell to an incredibly special educator and stalwart of the school, Miss Goldie. We will miss her kindness, caring nature and passion for every single child and family in our community.

Thank you to all of our teachers for their amazing commitment to our students, thank you to the students for an incredible term of learning and experiences, and finally thank you to each of our families for your connection throughout the term. We loved having your involvement with our sausage sizzles, visits at twilight, and especially each and every day in the school yard.

Please have a safe and restful break, remember to wrap up warm, spend some quality time together as a family, and we can't wait to see you all to reconnect in Term 3!
