Underdale HS Open Day
It is with great pleasure that I personally invite you to come along on Monday 27th March and have a chat with me about the future education for your child. This is my eleventh year at Underdale High School, and second as Principal.
Our SACE achievements over the last 5 years can be compared favourably with any school in the state, with our 2016 results being the best ever, (97% SACE Completion and 96% successful Stage 2 grades). In fact, 100% of all students who submitted the Research Project passed, a statistic any school would like to boast. These results, however, are not what I believe Underdale High School is all about. I have immense pride in our learning community, the staff, the students and our parents. Underdale is small enough to have that “family” feel, yet big enough to provide many options at Year 11 and 12. Your child will never be lost in the crowd and their progress and achievement in all aspect of their growth as an individual are our paramount concern.
We celebrate success, but develop aspirational attitudes to be even better. With a highly multi-cultural student body, we are a family that does not just build tolerance, but celebrates diversity. I look forward to a wonderful opportunity rich future for our children, and we at Underdale are excited about helping to prepare them for this largely unknown world that they will help shape.
Don’t take my word for it, come along to our Open Day (see details in our advert) and talk to me and my staff about the opportunity you have available to your child.
Sincerely yours,
David Harriss

Mellor Verandah Renovation
The Grounds & Buildings Committee is requesting the assistance of parents to renovate the Mellor building verandah on Saturday 25 March 2017 from 7am.
The works include the removal of the upper cladding and installation of benches to make better use of the space for our children’s learning.
If you are able to assist on the day please email me at gconstantinides@leed.net.au. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
