Principal Report
The importance of the values and attitudes can not be understated. It is incredibly important and serve as a reference point for our behaviours as individuals and as a collective (our school). How we treat ourselves and each other matters. Examples of two of our key values and their associated behaviours are:
Respect
- Smile and be positive to others around us and have a positive influence on others.
- Greet others with ‘Good Morning’ or ‘Good afternoon’.
- Show respect to your parents and school staff (teachers, support staff and principals).
- Take care of ourselves, our belongings and our environment.
- Use manners and be considerate of other people.
Kindness
- Be friendly to everyone.
- If you see a way you can help another person ask if you can help or just do it.
- Help each other and be compassionate to others.
- Use kind words when talking to others.
- Include others in your activities and games.
The respect and kindness we show play an important part in forming the culture of our school, a culture that is focussed on learning through showing respect and kindness.
