YEAR 7 READING CHALLENGE

Yr 7 Reading Challenge & pizza lunch with the Principal

Congratulations to the following students for completing the Year 7 Reading Challenge during Term 1:

Sasha (7A), AJ (7S), Zoe (7E), Erik (7S), Andrey (7S), Kemin (7S), Isla (7S), Caelan (7D), Jashn (7S), Xavier (7L), Minh (7S), Jennifer (7S), Ethan (7S), Nam (7C), Deveron (7S), Oliver (7A).

These students chose to either read six novels in Term 1, four novels from different genres, or 600, 000+ words. We are so impressed that these students accepted one of these challenges and made the effort to fit so many books into their lives.

As a reward for their efforts they were joined by our principal, Mr Minack, and our library captain, Thenura Liyanage, for a delicious pizza lunch. The smell emanated throughout the library, making the mouths of all those in the vicinity water. But only the readers could partake in the feast.

The students named above will also earn house points and class challenge points. Please note the number of participants from our Yr 7 STEM class!

Well done to all. The librarians are so delighted to be able to acknowledge the excellent readers who have joined our school.

Ms. Boyd (Teacher Librarian)
