DESIGN THE LOGO FOR OUR WHOLE SCHOOL PRODUCTION - STUDENT COMPETITION!

We are running a competition for all students to design the logo for our whole school production of “Peter Pan”.

Think about the features of an effective and eye-catching logo (like the examples in the picture) and see what ideas you can come up with.

Entries must be original and drawn/created without using existing images/pictures/logos. You can complete your design on paper or using your iPad as entries can be received via email or hard copy, so the choice is yours.

Entries close on Wednesday 20th July so time to get moving if you are going to enter!

Entries can be placed in the box at the office, or sent through to greenhills.ps@education.vic.gov.au

Don’t forget to include your name and class!

The winning logo will be used on the tickets, posters and other items to promote our show and our winning designer will also receive a $30 shopping voucher as a prize.

Good luck and hope to see your design there!

HIGH JUMP TRIALS - YEARS 3-6

As per the information sent home via Compass last Term, I will be holding High Jump Trials (for students in the years 3-6) on Monday 18th July 2022 at Willinda Park (Beatrix St, Greensborough VIC 3088) from 8:00am-8:45am.

This is not compulsory for all students, but if your child is interested they are encouraged to attend. It is, however, recommended that they have some experience with high jump.

To assist in the planning, please complete the following form expressing your child/ren’s interest:

https://forms.gle/oww9YzSFi7WbCdeJ9

It is the parents/guardians responsibility to transport students to and from Willinda Park, as well as for supervision while at the venue.

Please contact me by phone or email if you have any questions/queries or if you can’t open the link.

COMMUNITY SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS

Congratulations to Heidi K (4BJ) who received an invitation to join the National Tennis Development Squad - this will take place at Melbourne Park for 6hrs each week. She is the youngest player to be offered a position and is super excited.

We can’t wait to hear about all your achievements on court, Heidi. Well done!

If your child achieves something special (grand final win, most valuable player award, best and fairest etc.), please email me (jordan.daley@education.vic.gov.au) through photos and an overview of the achievement to post in Contact. It is important to celebrate and recognise such successes with the school community.
