STUDENT LED LEARNING CONFERENCES

An enormous thank you to our parents who are supporting their child’s education through participation in the Student Led Learning Conferences. The Conferences highlight how articulate and accurate our children can be in regards to their learning, when given the opportunity and provided with a clear scaffold.

KINDERGARTEN 2023

Our 2023 Kindergarten Interviews start the process of a professional partnership with our parents, where St Nicholas Primary School and parents are committed to working together to provide the child with the best opportunity to reach a vast potential.

A component of the interview involves outlining to our parents how they can support St Nicholas School's high expectations for our students. Our high expectations are founded on the system's Living Well Learning Well document, specifically in regards to our rules for living and learning:

  • I am safe
  • I am valued, respected and cared for
  • I am a learner

Each family is also presented with the following support document, which provides examples on how they can work with St Nicholas School to support our high expectations.

LONG WEEKEND

The June Long Weekend falls at a convenient time for our students and families. I trust our families enjoy a happy and safe long weekend, where our batteries can receive a quick recharge before the final sprint to the semester break.

Have a wonderful week (and keep warm).
