We are thrilled that Avah Chaffey (Kindergarten) is amongst a group of 60 finalists in the 2022 University of New England School Acquisitive Art Prize. There were 591 art entries this year, from 46 schools, and these works demonstrated the application of a very high standard of technical skill as well as creative expression. The selection committee commented that there was a wonderful diversity of art media and subject matter represented which made the selection process very difficult, given the high standard. Congratulations Avah.

Health Reminder - Gastroenteritis 

We have had a couple of cases of children vomiting this week at school. Just a reminder to keep your child at home for at least 48 hours after the last vomit or diarrhea to avoid further spread.

Athletics Carnival 

The rescheduled date for our athletics carnival is Friday the 24th of June (Week 9). Same 9am start at the Uralla Sporting Complex.

P&C will still need soup and baking as well as volunteers for the day. If you can help out at all please contact Kath Caddy or Lucie Street at school.

Eisteddfod 

The eisteddfod is on  this Wednesday.  This year the agenda is different, the students need to come to school as normal in their usual school uniform. The students will dress in their ceremonial uniforms here at school. We will be leaving school at 11.15 am as our section starts at 12.30 pm. We will be having an early lunch at school and recess will be in the afternoon. Students will need to bring a drink bottle, lunch and recess. If the students behave themselves and do well on the day, they will get to go to McDonald's at the end of Term 2. Parents are most welcome to attend and watch the session.

Wood Raffle

The P&C are running a wood raffle, the students have been given the raffle tickets to sell. If you need more tickets please see Anne in the office. The raffle will be drawn on the 27th June.
