NSWPSSA Athletics
Adam Davis, Leif Dietrich, Thomas Errington and Zac Whalan travelled to Sydney to compete in the NSWPSSA Athletics. The boys competed in the Senior Boys 4 x 100m Relay and broke the record in the heat. The boys then won their semi final and progressed through to the Final. With a very close Final, the boys came away with a silver medal in this event.
Adam Davis also competed in the 100m event and placed 5th overall. Zac Whalan also competed individually in the Long Jump and placed 6th overall.
A huge effort to all involved. Adam made special mention to Mrs Pauline Long at assembly for her time and effort she put into training the boys.
Year 6 Gymnastics
Year 6 were lucky enough to complete their 7 years of Gymnastics Programs this year with a taste tester at the Tamworth Gymnastics Centre and they LOVED it! We are so lucky at St Edward's to have such talent in our community to draw upon to teach all our students at St Edward's Gymnastics. Thank you to the McGinnity family for sharing your Gymnastic expertise with us.
Gymnastics Club
On Sunday 10th November, Amity Wall competed in the Tamworth Gymnastics Club Summer Carnival. She received 4th on Bars and Vault and 3rd on Beam and Floor, placing her 4th overall in Level 3. Well done Amity!
