Term Wrap-Up

With the year coming to an end, I look back at the year and wonder where the time went! There has been so much happen throughout this time and it has been a very exciting and enjoyable journey for all in Eclipse House.

With summer sport kicking off, things are as busy as ever and we continue to work right up until the end. This term, we have seen the Year Twelve students finish their final assessments and depart our corridors. The Year Eleven students are also in the throes of wrapping up their final days, while the Year Ten students are enjoying the vast open spaces of the house to themselves as they prepare for their final assessments.

On Thursday, we celebrated the Year Eleven boarders' last night in boarding with our Christmas dinner, beautifully presented and prepared by Chefs Nick and Jaydn. Jacob Featherstone was the winner of the Boarding Photo Competition with his fantastic scenic snap. This was Jacob's second year in the finals, coming second to Thomas Dolan last year.

Fond Farewell

Throughout my time here, I have appreciated the honest, caring and always cheerful manner with which your sons have presented themselves. Certainly, there have been some challenges to work through but, overall, I sincerely rate each and every one of these young men very highly and commend them on their attitude and effort in making the Senior House the success it is.

I would again like to thank all of the parents and families for the opportunity to care for your sons over the last three years. My wife, Caroline, and our three sons have enjoyed the experience immensely. It has been something that we will cherish and look back on fondly.
