Walk-a-thon - Good Vibes!

The Parent’s and Friend’s Walk-a-thon took place on Tuesday 4th June at Wattle Grove Reserve. The aim of the event is to raise funds for new resources for the school library and to contribute to the school’s building fund. We were blessed with good weather and the children had a great time walking with their friends and wearing their ‘crazy socks’. We would like to thank a dedicated group of parent volunteers from Grade One who helped make the day a success. In particular we would like to mention Kathy Litaridis, Heather Hosken, Kath Spencer and Sophie Devilliers for their efforts, plus Brodie Thomson and Jan Cassidy from the school administration team. A shout out also goes to Bentleigh Coles and Woolworths for kindly donating fruit that was given out to children at the end of the event. Thank-you to those who have already paid their Walk-a-thon money into Compass or directly to the school. Remaining money raised is due back this week. We look forward to updating you soon with a final figure of the money raised.
