Principal's Report

Pleasant Bazaar - Thank you!
After a dedicated year of planning our Bazaar Committee have delivered a very successful fundraising initiative. I do not think anyone realised how big and indeed the quality of the market stalls, food stalls and rides would be.
Thank you to our amazing event coordinators:
Jess Walker who had the big picture of just how 'big' we could be. Jess built on the efforts of our Bazaar from two years ago and tirelessly worked for many long days.
Ebony Balaz who connected us together through contacts, volunteer coordination and great ideas. Ebony has been our P&F coordinator for 2019 and has well truly done that job!
Leonie Semmens who kept us all organised through charts, agendas and meticulous planning. She also organised our Junior Makers stall and manned the information stand.
I am in awe of the thought and planning that went into the event. Very little was left to chance and I know everyone was able to enjoy the day because of that.
Our coordinators also of course had the support of the committee and I want to take this opportunity to thank them:
Luke Watters for all the logistics support, many trips to Bunnings, ice runs and even power washing our courtyard in the clean up. Luke represented the School Council and was influential in making contacts with our local councillors and politicians!
Cam Walker for his logistics support, lots of setting up and packing up, he knows how many chairs we have now! Cam has also helped us out with Bunnings runs and stayed over at school with Luke so that we could set up on the Friday night.
Daron Kirby for all his work with our graphics and he was even able to help us out with better quality school logos.
Louise Toland for organising the school stalls and food stalls.
Jodi Vale for assembling the most amazing Silent Auction and Raffle. She is now ringing all winners today and we appreciate that there is still work being done.
Justine Williams for organising the entertainment and coordinating the equipment that was needed for each item.
Flip McKinnon for keeping us up to date via Social Media and putting out calls for help when needed.
Sandeep Nair for the Bazaar Website which was invaluable in directing people for information.
Fran Pratt for organising sponsorship deals.
We also had a number of Coordinators from our parent community to run stalls on the day. They had a huge job on the day coordinating volunteers, setting up and packing up, managing equipment and being the knowledge point of contact. Thank you Clare Verheyen - Juice Stalls, Peou Eng - Dumplings, Amy Moore - Trash & Treasure, Amy Hamilton - Fresh Produce, Megan Sieh & Alex Kromidas - Devonshire Teas, Heloise Honigsberg & Kerryn Lewis - Fairy Floss, Popcorn, Slushies, Emily Harnett & Cathy Harper - Cake Stall, Adi & Kunal Bopari - Mexican Food, Luke Smits - Baked Potatoes and Luke Watters - Pulled Pork and BBQ, Jennifer Liu - Balloon Animals, Sarah Kirby - Silent Auction and Raffle support.
Jo Daly & Bree Dowling - Entertainment Coordination, Bump In and Out, Car Park Management and Stall Holder support - Adam Clyde, Jarrod Marsh & Chris Toland.
