Recipes from our kitchen

During the last month, students in Years 3-6 have been learning to prepare and cook the following menus.  Please try making some of these at home.

 

Japanese menu - Weeks 4 and 5

Indigenous menu - Weeks 6 and 7

We sourced the warrigal greens are from our school garden and the wattle seed and ground strawberry gum leaf from Leo’s Supermarket.

 

 

Our Garden

Our SAKG is thriving! Farmer Mike has done a lot of work in garden classes to create a makeshift greenhouse, introduce new chickens, continuing to grow produce (which is utilised in our kitchen classes) and to turn the garden shed into a learning space.
