Formula Student Race Car Update
Mr Andrew Devoy - Curriculum Leader – Technologies
The Certificate II Engineering Pathways students have been working feverishly over the past few weeks assembling the components onto the chassis of the car as well as buffing and finishing the aluminium panels to be attached in due course. It is all hands-on deck each lesson as the team of students get the car closer to the finishing line. Minor preparation is also taking place on the professional finish that the company “Workshop 28” applied to the car about one month ago in preparation for the final wrap to be applied.
As you will see in the images, the car is prepped and ready to be sent out to Procloud Creative who will be applying the very special Marist designed wrap to the car. This company has worked very closely with key stakeholders at the College in this project to design a very unique Marist College Ashgrove identity that will allow the car to stand out from the crowd.
A huge thank you must go to Michael Jackson and his team from major sponsors Procloud Creative for their commitment and expertise in sharing this very special project with us.
Watch this space as we soon will be revealing the final design to our College Community.
