Respectful Relationships

3/4 Schulz

During Respectful Relationships, we have learned that communication is not always direct and clear. It is important to use clear, short, simple instructions or statements to have effective communication. We learned about the importance of creating clear and

accurate messages when asking for help. If people do not understand our needs clearly, they may not be able to help us. Here we are role playing effective communication with our classmates.

SWPBS - Term 2 Whole School Rewards

Last assembly the Term 2 whole school rewards were picked randomly from the lists provided by our students at the end of last year. We now have 4 lists, one for each reward level, that we will randomly select from each term.

This terms whole school rewards, by level are:

Level 1 - 2000 stickers - Pancake Day

Level 2 - 4000 stickers - Chocolate Treasure Hunt

Level 3 - 6000 stickers - Movie with Popcorn

Level 4 - 8000 stickers - School Disco

Depending on the number of stickers received by the end of term, we will all enjoy one of these amazing prizes. So, keep getting stickers everyone, because I'm really looking forward to a movie day (hopefully)!

Student Voice Project Fundraiser!

This year our kids have voted to create an outdoor ‘Relaxing Zone’ as part of our SRC action project. Our first fundraiser for this project will be a dress-up day next Friday the 26th of May. The theme is hobbies and interests, so feel free to come in your favourite sports gear, computer game tees, dance costumes, lab coat, art smock or anything else that lets us know your passion! We are asking for gold coin donations to go toward supporting our project!

Thanks
