Group 2

As part of education week, Group 2 were focusing on ‘motivate’ in the classroom. The group used a conservation storybook to learn more about swamps. This story looked at the different animals living in a swamp and the importance of protecting their homes.

In the story, the animals make posters to promote saving their swamp. They hope the humans will see them and help. Monday’s group made their own colourful posters using paint. 

Tuesday’s group made their own swamp inside the classroom. They collected materials from the school garden areas and put the materials together. They enjoyed exploring the different textures and playing with the animals. 

This story has already been read many times in Group 2 and has now been added to the classroom library.
