This Week's Updates

Dear Families,

What a difference the sun makes to our weekends and our days at school!

Teachers are currently busy writing students reports while also planning for lessons, organising excursions, sporting events, camps and making early preparations for the concert production. It's all happening behind the scenes here at St James!

This morning I commenced the process of meeting with all of our new families who have submitted an application for Prep 2024 enrolment. This is a lovely aspect to the job!

The hard part comes later on when we will need to place some of these families on a waiting list. I will meet with our current families next term.

Operoo Policy Acknowledgement

Please complete the Operoo acknowledgement of our Child Safe Standards and Parent Code of Conduct policies. It has come to our attention that once one parent has completed the acknowledgement, the other parent does not receive further reminders. Because of this, we are expecting that all parents read and discuss these two important policies, and the parent who responds is doing so on behalf of the other adult caring for each child.

Division Cross Country

Congratulations to the 16 students who competed in this event last week.

Both Isaac and Xavier qualified for the Regional event to be help at Yarra Valley racecourse next week.

Parents & Friends Masquerade Ball - Sat 15 July

This is sure to be "the social event of the year!" and to help with catering and calculating numbers, please book your tickets ASAP.
