Library News – Like It, Read It, Return It.

A very successful and enjoyable Book Week started with a “Guess the Staff member” competition - where staff members chose their favourite book and held it up to their face, only showing their eyes. It was won by Alice Grant and Heidi Fitzpatrick (16/16) and staff member, Cate West (14/16).  Tuesday’s fantastic Free Dress Day/come as your favourite book character, was won by “Alice in Wonderland” students and congratulations to Kylie Wealands winning the staff member prize.  Other outstanding costumes included Nancy Drew, 10 crayons, Snoop Dog, Hogworts characters and many more.  The Book Quiz also saw many students engaged in pleasant revelry.  Thursday competition was Naming the “Famous Eyes” and winners were Sam Cutler and Emilio (8/11) and the winning staff member being Joy Rea (8/11).     

Congratulations to all winners and participants.  It’s been a fantastic week full of laughs and fun and I thank students and staff for their involvement and assistance.
