Aboriginal Student Program

Durham Road NAIDOC Celebrations

The Aboriginal Education Program was blessed to attend Durham Road School and be a part of their NAIDOC Celebrations for 2022.

Durham Road School is a leader in the development of educational programs for students (K-12) with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, challenging behaviours and autistic spectrum disorders. Students from Years 7-12 preformed the Trinity College NAIDOC dance, depicting a creation story, featuring the emu and kangaroo. Our very talented Year 12 boys then showed the students of Durham Road the different sounds and animals that can be made with the Didgeridoo. We were lucky enough to be treated to a crispy crème donut before venturing back to the College.
