Things to know

Acceptance letter have gone home to our new families starting Prep for 2023. We are very excited and would like to welcome all our new families and students to LPPS.

If you still need to enrol your child please do so asap as we are getting ready to work out class placement for 2023.

First Aid

We are still seeing so many in our community continue to struggle with illness whether it be covid, flu, colds, gastro or other winter viruses.  It is still very important to ensure that our children are reminded to cough into their elbows, wash and sanitise hands regularly and to stay home if they are unwell.  Hopefully with Spring in the air we will begin to see many of our children and families return to full health.

Father's day Stall

A very big Thank you to the parents Jess Scollary, Esme Adyneic, Ali Piggott, Shannon Gallagher and Joanne Mcneill for helping with the Father's day stall. This service is only made available due to the committement of thses parents.

They have made all the students excited about spoiling their Dad or special friend

Dad's & Mates Breakfast

It was great to see so many Dads and Mates at school last Friday  morning for our annual breakfast.  This is always a fun event and one which everyone enjoys. The children really thrive on this

Also, a special thank you to the staff arriving at school by 7.00am to provide our Dads and Mates with a yummy breakfast.

Lunch orders are not made at school, they are sourced out to upper Yarra Secondary College. Payments for your child lunch need to be put in the bag on the day.

Sun protection tips for parents & carers

For the best protection use all five forms of sun protection – clothing, sunscreen, a broad-brim hat, shade and sunglasses – when the UV is 3 and above.

Please note: Some people (such as transplant recipient patients, people with compromised immune systems and genetic skin cancer risk) are at high risk of skin cancer and may require additional sun protection and early detection strategies specific to their health needs. Please consult your doctor for specific health advice.

1. Slip on sun protective clothing

2. Slop on SPF30 (or higher) broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen

3. Slap on a sun-protective hat

4. Seek shade

5. Slide on sunglasses
