Our senior students were fortunate enough to visit both All Energy Headquarters at Ashgrove and a site visit at Kingaroy. Kitted up in our safety gear and after a thorough safety briefing, the students learnt about many career paths available in the solar and wind farm industry. In addition, the boys observed the equipment used and the life of a FIFO worker. They gained further insight into the environmental, cultural and legal considerations when building solar and wind farms.
Thank you very much to MCA parent and CEO of All Energy, Steve Urquhart who provided this opportunity for our students and staff.
Our Year 12 students have been busy prepping for Medicine Application Support. They have been blessed to have Old Boys Henry Smith assist with UCAT preparation and Blake Harrold discuss Medicine at USQ/UQ and give interview tips. Thank you so much Henry and Blake!
