Year 10 and 11 Formal

On the 12th of May, Year 10 & 11 students arrived at The Manningham for their Formal.  With a Photo Booth, Candy Bar and DJ for the evening, the students were ready to unwind and celebrate.  

  After a three-course meal, the ‘Best Dressed’ finalists were named.  For the women - Saida Larchin, Madison McKinnon & Mahi Khore.  For the men - Aqib Ahmed-Karie, Luka Conic, Sunny Gurung & Troy Athanou.  An honourable mention goes out to Cowboy Lachlan Sander.  After a judges’ deliberation, the winners for ‘Best Dressed’ were Luka Conic in a burgundy blazer and Mahi Khore in a draped tangerine dress. 

  Later, after an evening burning up the dancefloor, four finalists competed for ‘Best Dancer’. Taylen Chau, Matthew Huynh, Meisje Williams & Will Baker.  As the DJ blasted a remix to ‘Rasputin’, our final four showed off their amazing dance moves.  Will Baker took the gold with Meisje Williams the runner-up.  It was fantastic to see all students get involved in the evening.   

As the night continued, our students made the most of the Formal & had a fantastic experience.
