Subject Expo and 

Futures Fair

Parents/carers and students are invited to attend our Subject EXPO and Futures Fair held on Tuesday July 18, 2023.

 

Come and see:

 

Subject Elective displays - discuss choices and options with specific subject teachers who can assist students in making informed decisions about the subjects they will choose for the following year.

 

 

 

 

Pathways Selection Presentation - for Year 10 into 11 students and Year 9 students wishing to accelerate in Year 10 and undertake a VCE subject

 

 

 

Futures Fair - tertiary education and employment providers will be available to discuss courses and careers: RMIT, La Trobe University, Box Hill TAFE, Melbourne Polytechnic, University of Melbourne, Victoria Police, Defence Force, HeadStart Apprenticeships

 

 

VET offerings booklet will be available at the VET Stall to view and discuss. A copy (PDF) will on school website

 

VCE Vocational Major Information Stall

 

 

Edval Help Stall - assistance with using our online program to enter subject preferences

Year 8 students are invited to attend in the evening with parents/carers. There will be a ‘help stall’ for assistance with using our Edval online program to enter subject preferences. 

 

Year 9 and 10 students will visit the Subject EXPO throughout the day and are invited to attend in the evening with parents/carers to peruse the Subject EXPO, Futures Fair and VCE presentation in the evening.

 

Year 11 and 12 students are invited to attend in the evening Futures Fair with parents/carers.

 

Evening Schedule:

Student Subject Preferences are due on                   Edval Choice by July 20

Course Counselling dates:

July 13

Year 11 into 12 VCE Course counselling - interviews times will appear on Compass for students, parents welcome to attend at the scheduled time. Classes run as normal throughout the day. 

Year 11 into 12 VCE VM Course counselling - interviews times will appear on Compass for students, parents welcome to attend at the scheduled time. Classes run as normal throughout the day.

Year 10 into 11 Course counselling - Year 10 students are off site (no scheduled classes) and make appointments (available from 12pm to 7pm) with parents through COMPASS to see counsellors together. Bookings open on Compass on July 18 and close on July 25.

Year 9 into 10 Course counselling- Year 9 students are off site (no scheduled classes) and make appointments (available from 12pm to 7pm) with parents through COMPASS to see counsellors together. Bookings open on Compass on July 18 close on July 31st
