Newlands in a Nutshell

- Welcome Back! Term 3 has officially began!
- School Photos have arrived and handed out
- Students have been involved in a range of activities to celebrate NAIDOC week.
- Students and teachers in 4/6 have arrived and left Camp Marysville with a new appreciation for Skiing.
- Natalie Hutchins, The Minister of Education, made a surprise visit at Camp Marysville and met all of the students at Newlands.
- A big welcome to Mel Tyson (2/3CD), Jon Ors Urrita (F/1EF), Jack Waller (Educational Support) & Claudia Nusimuvich (Spanish Learning Assistant)
- Melissa Buehler is now working 3 days a week running the Tutor Learning Initiative.
- Rebecca will be finishing up at Newlands Primary School on 21st of July. She is moving back home to Canada!
- Before School Care is now open from 7am.
- Families in Sergio/Moira class are invited to book their Parent Teacher Interview through Sentral.
- Library will be open afterschool for borrowing on Tuesday and Wednesday between 3:30 & 4:00.

- The next Pupil Free Day will take place on Monday the 31st of July. Booking information for OSHC will be available early next term.
- The PFA have organised a comedy night at the Thornbury Thearte on Friday the 18th of August
- Sonya will be on long service leave between Tuesday 18th July to Friday 4th August.
