Education Support
We welcome Jack to our team. He will be working with students across the school who receive education support funding.
Kaya and Leah will be taking leave this term. We hope that their teaching practicums go well and look forward to seeing them again in term 4.
Medication at school
All medication bought to school needs to be in their dispensing box with the child's name and medication directions.
Please see Bronia/Denise for further information regarding the dispensing of medication to your child.
Ensure that the office is made aware of any changes in doses and times and that a supply is always available at school.
Support Group Meetings
Support group meetings for Koorie and PSDMS funded students will be taking place on Monday 17th July. Please come to the office and you will be directed to your meeting.
You can check your messages in Sentral to confirm you meeting time. We have organised for classroom teachers to be released to attend these meetings. There is an option to do these meetings remotely if you are unable to attend in person. Just message me to arrange this avenue for your child's meeting.
CSEF Funding
Applications have now closed. The funding will become available by the end of July. Please indicate that you will be using these funds when you are completing permission forms for excursions. Foundation uniform packages will be ordered in early August. I will contact families who qualify for the uniform package via Sentral.
Behavioural Therapist News
Raquel will continue to run both individual and small group sessions to support students.
She is available each Friday morning between 9 and 11 for meetings with parents to discuss support she can provide for individual students. Families can organise a time to meet with Raquel by sending a message to her through Sentral.
Child Psychologist News
Thao's weekly Monday sessions are now at full capacity for the year.
Please contact Sonya to discuss the possibility for urgent care.
Safe Schools
Raquel and I will be attending a professional learning opportunity on Tuesday 15th August. The session will address LGBITQ+ Inclusion in Schools and provide us with an opportunity to ensure that our practices and documentation reflect up to date guidelines and practices.
Caring for our own belongings at School
Please ensure that all items your child brings to school are clearly labelled with their name using a permanent marker.
Long Service Leave
I will be taking some long service leave from Tuesday 18th July to Friday 4th August to tick off another item from my bucket list.
Please contact your child's classroom teacher if you require any support during this period. They will direct you to the appropriate person for support.
