Career Awareness Week 2023:

The year 10 cohort spent three days last week involved in a career awareness program to give themselves more information on possible future careers that might be suitable for them.  The motto of the program was that they were to become “The Authors of their Own Story”.

They spent the time researching different careers, completing quizzes and exercises to determine their interests and strengths, and listening to ex-students talk about their journeys and advice.

Students had the chance to ask questions about the different programs available to them and look into future tertiary and work options and choices.  All this was aimed at giving them every opportunity to gather relevant information so they can make a more informed choice with their future subject selections into the senior school next year.

Year 10 subject selections will be opened on Thursday 13 July – The same night as the compulsory Year 10 Parent Information night.  Subject selection interviews will occur all day Wednesday 19 July.
