VICHEALTH Future Healthy program

Some students from Years 7 & 8 participated in the VICHEALTH Future Healthy program. Coaches and staff from sporing organizations ran activities for students each week during term one. The aim was for students to trial new sports and improve their skills and fitness.

They participated in netball, football, basketball and soccer. Serdar from Whittlesea Community Connections liaised with VICHEALTH to organise the funding for the coaches, and 12 students were awarded $125 Rebel Sport vouchers. Students are encouraged to purchase sporting equipment and clothes to help them engage in sporting activities to improve their fitness.

I would like to thank Serdar from Whittlesea Community Connections and VICHEALTH for sponsoring the Future Healthy program and the vouchers they provided to the students at Epping Secondary College.
