Principal's Message

with Mr Brendan Gill

Dear Families

Every blessing for the winter break.  Thank you to families for your participation in our recent learning conferences. It was wonderful to hear of the progress our students have made.

Please find attached a summary of our recent parent survey conducted by MYP Corporation.  The results are affirming, and the detailed responses provide us with some opportunity for growth.

Staff News

  • We wish our Art teacher Jo Boyd every blessing as she finishes at John Paul II this term.  We are very lucky to have employed a new Art teacher, Mrs Christina Booth.  Christina is a Tasmanian author and illustrator.  You can check out her at http://christinabooth.weebly.com/
  • Ms Jane Davies is taking Term 3 off.  Lauren Woods and Mr Joshua Prichard will be sharing the responsibility for our wonderful Myrtle cohort.

A reminder that school lunches commence in Term 3.  Families have several options if they wish to participate in the program.  Lady Gowrie also commence before and after school care next term in Emmaus.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you want to follow up any of the above.

Brendan Gill | Principal
